Overview

Hyv (“Hyv”, “we”, “us”) is an intelligence layer for trusted circles. You talk to Hyv in Telegram through @usehyvbot and its Mini App, and you can connect apps such as Google Workspace and GitHub so Hyv can act on your behalf.

Hyv is operated by Decimal - F.Z.C, a free zone company licensed by the Ajman Free Zone Authority, United Arab Emirates (License No. 31090), with its registered office at Office - B1-323 E, B.C. 1300431, Ajman Free Zone, Ajman, Ajman 932, United Arab Emirates. Decimal - F.Z.C is responsible for the personal information processed through the Service.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to hyv.me, the Hyv Telegram bot and Mini App, and any related services (together, the “Service”).

Information we collect

Information you provide

• Account details from Telegram: your Telegram user ID, username, display name, and profile photo, as shared by Telegram when you start the bot or open the Mini App.
• Messages and intents:the messages you send to Hyv, and messages in groups where Hyv has been added, including the goals, needs, and requests (“intents”) Hyv identifies in them.
• Circles and invitations: the circles you create or join, invitations you send or redeem, and access requests.
• Decisions and preferences: your responses to proposed introductions, intents you withdraw, and what each circle is allowed to use.
• Support communications: anything you send us when you contact us.

Information from connected apps

If you choose to connect a third-party account, Hyv receives the data you authorize through that provider’s OAuth consent screen. Depending on what you connect and the permissions you grant, this may include:

• Google account: your name, email address, and profile picture.
• Gmail: email messages and metadata (such as sender, recipients, subject, and date), and the ability to draft or send email when you ask Hyv to.
• Google Calendar and Google Meet: calendars, events, availability, and meeting details, and the ability to create or update events when you ask Hyv to.
• Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides: files and their contents, and the ability to create or edit files when you ask Hyv to.
• GitHub: your profile, repositories, and related content you authorize.

You can see and disconnect each connection at any time from the Hyv Mini App.

Information collected automatically

When you visit hyv.me or use the Service, we collect limited technical information such as IP address, browser or device type, and request logs, which we use to operate, secure, and debug the Service.

How we use information

We use information to:

• Provide the Service, including understanding your intents and choosing the right next move: building, creating, coordinating, asking, connecting, or waiting.
• Take actions you request in connected apps, such as reading an email, drafting a document, or scheduling a meeting.
• Propose introductions within your circles, only with the consent of both people.
• Maintain your account, circles, and invitations, and communicate with you about the Service.
• Keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Google user data

For data we receive from Google APIs:

• We only use it to provide and improve the user-facing features you asked for, such as reading, summarizing, drafting, or scheduling inside your own Google account.
• We do not transfer it to others except as needed to provide those features, to comply with applicable law, for security purposes, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets with notice to you.
• We do not use or transfer it to serve advertising, including retargeting, personalized, or interest-based advertising.
• We do not sell it, and we do not use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
• We do not use it to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine learning models.
• No person at Hyv reads it unless you give us explicit permission for specific messages or files, it is necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, it is required by law, or it has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
• Content from your Google account is never shared with other members of your circles without your explicit consent.

You can revoke Hyv’s access at any time by disconnecting the connection in the Hyv Mini App or from your Google Account permissions page.

How information is shared

We share information only in these cases:

• With other people, with your consent. Hyv never makes people searchable. An introduction is only revealed after both people agree.
• With service providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality and data protection obligations, such as cloud hosting, AI model providers used to understand requests and generate responses, and credential management. These providers may not use your data for their own purposes, including training their models.
• With connected apps when you ask Hyv to take an action in them.
• For legal reasons, when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or Hyv.
• In a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition, subject to this Privacy Policy and with notice to you.

Retention and deletion

We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you disconnect an app, we stop accessing it and delete its stored access tokens. You can withdraw intents and review what each circle is allowed to use in the Mini App.

To delete your account and associated data, email privacy@hyv.me from any address and include your Telegram username. We will delete your data within 30 days, except where we must keep limited records for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and keeping OAuth credentials in a managed credential store instead of exposing them to the systems that act on your behalf. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach where required by law.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can exercise many of these choices directly in the Hyv Mini App, or by emailing privacy@hyv.me. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

International transfers

Hyv and its service providers may process information in countries other than the one you live in. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by other means before they take effect. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
