Feature
UpdatedGoogle Workspace: email, calendar and reminders
Connect your Google account to Hyv when you choose. It drafts email and calendar invites and sets reminders, and nothing is sent until you approve.

Hyv works with your Google account only after you connect it through a consent link. It can then draft email and calendar invites, read documents you ask about, and set reminders. Nothing is sent and no event is created until you approve it, and you can disconnect at any time with /disconnect.
You connect it on purpose
Hyv does not reach into your accounts on its own. You connect Google when you choose to, through a consent link Hyv sends you. It is one connection, and it covers Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides and Meet. Your credentials never appear in the chat, and the connection is private to you.
You can see what is connected at any time with /connections, and remove it with /disconnect.
Approval before anything leaves
When Hyv has an email or a calendar invite ready, it shows you the draft first. Nothing is sent and nothing is created until you approve it. This is the restraint principle applied to your inbox: Hyv prepares, and you decide.
In practice, that looks like this:
- You say “set up lunch with Meera on Thursday,” and Hyv drafts the invite for you to confirm.
- You ask for a summary of a document, and Hyv reads it with the access you gave and answers in the chat.
- You ask for a short reply to an email, and Hyv writes it. You send it as is, or change it first.
Reminders
Reminders are the other half. Tell Hyv what to remember and when, and it brings it up at that time, in the chat you already use. There is no separate app to open and no list to maintain. You can ask in plain words: “remind me to call the landlord on Friday morning.”
What we are careful about
Access to your Google account is something you grant and can withdraw at any time. Hyv uses it for what you ask and shows you the result. It does not use your account to build a profile for other people to browse, because there is no such profile.
Google access for apps like Hyv also goes through Google’s own review. We are working through that process now, and we will be specific about it when it is complete rather than before.
What it does not do yet
Hyv does not send email or create events without your approval, and that is by design, not a missing feature. We have no plans to change it.
