Campaigns: launch from chat

Hyv campaigns are small offers or rewards for members, such as extra credits. The people who run a campaign set it up in their private Hyv chat and must approve a confirmation card before it launches. Members see their offers with /campaigns and can stop them at any time with /campaigns stop.

For the people who run a campaign

Owners and campaign admins work on a campaign by talking to Hyv in their own private chat. They describe the goal, Hyv prepares the terms, and they see a preview before anything goes out.

Nothing launches on a message alone. Hyv first sends the full terms: who the offer is for, how to qualify, the reward, when it expires and whether it repeats. Then it sends a confirmation card that only the person who asked can approve. If the wording is incomplete, the campaign cannot launch. An unapproved card expires after 24 hours. Resuming a paused campaign needs the same card.

Pausing is different. It takes effect immediately, and any offers that have not been sent yet are cancelled. Hyv says how many.

For members

If you receive an offer, everything about it stays in your own private chat.

• Type /campaigns to see the offers you have received, their terms, and your progress.
• Type /credits to see your daily allowance and credit balance.
• When a reward is paid, Hyv sends you a short receipt.
• If you would rather not receive campaign messages, tell Hyv or type /campaigns stop. It stops straight away.
• If you change your mind, type /campaigns allow to receive offers again.

Both commands keep working even after you have used up your daily allowance.

Limits we set

• Campaign messages are sent only between 09:00 and 20:00 in your local time.
• Stopping campaign messages stops contact, not what you have earned. Rewards you already qualified for are still paid, and you still get the receipt.
• A paused campaign cancels unsent offers and keeps paying rewards that were already earned.
• Offers have a maximum length, so nothing arrives as a wall of text.
• There is a ceiling on the total credit that campaigns can promise at once, and it applies to owners too.

The campaign tools are built and tested. Our first campaign will be a small one, run from chat, before anything wider.

If I stop campaign messages, do I lose my rewards?

No. Rewards you already qualified for are still paid, and you still get the receipt.
